South Fork Baptist Church

PRAY FOR THE SOUTH FORK COMMUNITY On January 11th, our community was devastated by as tornado! Relief Efforts began immediately….Rebuilding work continues Pray for our community and our Church Family as we try to help and minister.

We are taking a weekend off from the recovery effort.   Everyone is asked to take a break – rest and relax.  We will resume our efforts next week!

Here are some of the projects that are in progress this week: 3 Trailers are being set up with skirting, porches and decks installed 2 Mobile Homes are being demolished and cleaned up 3 New Homes are being started 1 Ramp to be built 1 Deck being replaced 2 Utility building to be installed Home [...]

We have a group from Arizona with us this week.  They joined up with Disaster Teams from several local churches today to continue the clean-up effort and put vinyl siding on an area home.  Pray that the weather holds while they are here.  One “new” trailer was placed today.  And, we are expecting the Lane’s [...]

We will continue to work in the community this weekend.  We are working on setting several new trailers, building porches and decks and getting ready to build at least one new house.  There is still a trailer that needs to be dismantled and hauled away.  If you have any groups that would like to work, please [...]

Bojangles of Granite Falls has given us 8 total nights in which they will donate 10% of their proceeds (between the hours of 5pm – 8pm)to the disaster relief fund.  This coming Saturday night is the second of these nights.  Make plans to help raise funds for our community.  See you then!!
